So, my birthday’s in a couple hours, and I don’t really understand what I’m feeling.

I just don’t know. I feel like the hype means nothing when you don’t have your friends around you. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not blaming my friends or anything like that. I’m sorta just saying, its kinda lame when you get older. Like, growing up, elementary school/middleschool/highschool during school in general, was the best place to be when it was your birthday. Just being with everyone, people you love, hate, don’t even know, that greet you with a “happy birthday!”, just makes it even better by that much. Going to school the morning of your birthday was just so special to me. It was the only day of the year where you felt, like, you owned the world, haha and every minute, every breathing second, was yours, on your special day. It’s already been like 2 years since I’ve graduated highschool, but I just felt the change the most this year. Maybe its because its a new chapter in my life? The 20’s? I don’t know. I’m just gonna roll with it without any expectations.

With everything said, I will enjoy my birthday no matter what. I know I share the 17th of October with a few friends, so I hope we all just enjoy this day individually.

It’s October! My favorite month that shares 2 of my favorite days. INEEDTOFINDMYCOSTUME…

We are now accepting applications for Artofficial 2012 for minor division teams!

In April 2010, Studio FX’s Syde FX fought hard to be our first-ever First Place Champions, and earned the title against twelve amazing teams. Last April, Studio 429’s Tru-Definition claimed First Place and became our second generation champions, taking home our coveted six-foot trophy.

Next year, we’re proud to bring back Artofficial for our third season, and we’re excited to see the next wave of artists who will blaze our stage.

Will your team be our next champions?

Submit your applications to artofficial@artistsanonymousent.com for either exhibition or competition. Deadline to submit applications is 11:59pm PST on Saturday, December 24, 2011. Early registration is highly encouraged. No late submissions will be accepted.

Competing dancers must be under the age of 19 years old at the time of the competition and may not be affiliated with any major division teams. No exceptions.

Each competing dancer may only compete in one team, but may participate in multiple exhibition teams.

We are also accepting applications for volunteers who would like to be part of our staff! Send your name, age, and best contact number to apply@artistsanonymousent.com and we will contact you for more information!
